Clark Crew BBQ is an Oklahoma-based team out of Yukon, Oklahoma but we proudly showcase our Southwest Kansas roots in our KC Barbeque style. Since 2014, we have won 30 Grand Championships, 14 Reserve Grand Championships, and consistently place in the top ten. We have won 16 - 180 and 14 - 700 pins all while cooking on some of the biggest stages against some of the best teams in the country. Clark Crew BBQ consists of Travis and Kimberly Clark and their four amazing children Jennifer, Madison, Brooklyn, and Cooper (Coopdog).
We are very proud of our accomplishments, but all of that is second behind the friends and great people we have met along the way. Barbeque has taken us to places we never could have been and it's been amazing. We look forward to continue competing in barbeque and meeting more friends along the way. Burnt Bean Co. led by Ernest Servantes from New Braunfels, Texas. Ernest has been on LOTS of BBQ TV Shows, this grilling genius may have come from a small town but he has developed a massive following. Servantes has been on BBQ Pitmasters, BBQ Pit Wars and even won the BBQ edition of CHOPPED.

In 2012, CJ and Alicia created Mama and Papa Joe’s BBQ. They are a bbq team with a serious passion for good food, good friends and great bbq competitions. Over the years, they have shown that no competition is too big or too far away for us to compete in. We have travelled as far away as Kansas City for the prestigious American Royal.
They started teaching a competition bbq class in 2015 and to date, alumni of this class have earned more than 100 Grand and Reserve championships. Including

Fat Boys BBQ - Temple, TX.
We are a father & son team out of Temple, TX. We're no strangers to the award stage and our trophy cabinet shows it. My father, Danny Mikes, cooked competitively for over 15 years, winning almost every major cook off in American! The American Royal Open BBQ world championship in 1997, the Jack Daniels invitation in 1998, along with many other national championships, and Texas state championships. He retired from it in 2001 when my brothers and I were playing baseball and football and to pursue his dreams open a restaurant in Temple, TX.
We resumed cooking in 2014, returning to the American Royal for the first time in 13 years and finished 26th in the open.
We started using Kosmo's products in 2016 and the results showed it. Our crowning jewel of the season was a perfect 180 and 1st place in chicken at the American Royal open, along with a 2nd runner up finish.

Armed with nothing more than a borrowed offset pit, Google and a drive to be the best, Gettin' Basted jumped into the world of competition BBQ with both feet by entering Rock'N Ribs in Springfield, Missouri! We punched out ticket to the World Food Championships in Las Vegas for our potato salad and finished 7th overall out of over 70 teams. With over 40 Grand and Reserve Champions they continue to succeed on the bbq circuit.

Steve Hayden formed one2bbq in 2009 out of New Berlin, IL. Along with Mike Gillespie one2bbq has gone on to win 23 Grand Championships and 22 Reserve Grand Championships. We have finished in the top 5 in the American Royal Invitational and top ten in the American Royal Open and also a top 10 finish in last years Sam's Club National Championship.

I started out cooking on a work team competing in MBN events in the Memphis area in 2001. The team name at the time was Hoggin’ It All and we competed in 3-4 comps per year including Memphis in May. Our greatest accomplishments during this time period were two top three calls at the Memphis in May World Series of BBQ. In 2003, we took 3rd place in pork and in 2004, 1st in hot wings. In 2005, our family moved to the St. Louis area and formed a new team, Outlaw Hawgs BBQ. Team members include Sean Kenny, Russ Riebow, Laird MacDonald and my wife, Darcy. We competed in 4-5 comps per year locally. We started out cooking on an old school stick burner. Since that time, we progressed through an FE100 and a gravity-feed Rebel. We then made the switch to Gateway Drum Smokers, hot and fast cooking, #ICP, one of the first few teams to use them in competition. In 2011, we bought a BBQ trailer – a far cry from tents only. Coming up in the world! Recently we have been cooking about 7-10 comps a year.
In 2014, we were fortunate to become a Kosmos sponsored team, #itjust wins! A combination of Kosmos soaks, injections, rubs and sauces and Gateway Drum Smokers has lead to 2 GC’s including Sam’s Club National Champions 2015, 3 RGC’s and multiple top ten finishes including 7th in the American Royal Open in 2016. Other accolades include, two 180 pins in brisket and a 700 pin.

Wine Country "Q" is a Husband and Wife Competition BBQ Team from Duvall, Washington. We are the reigning Pacific Northwest BBQ Association "Team of the Year" for 2011, 2012, 2103, 2014, & 2016!
In our first year competing together we won 7 Grand Championships and 1 Reserve Grand Championship along with the Pacific Northwest BBQ Association's 2011 "Team Of The Year". Along the way we earned invitations to several of the the most prestigious bbq events in the world including The Jack Daniel's World Invitational in Lynchburg, TN, the American Royal Invitational in Kansas City, MO, The King of the Smoker Invitational in Palm Springs, CA, and The World Food Championships in Las Vegas, NV.

Part time pimp and gun runner Kent has ran the gamut on on various jobs that feed his Pokemon addiction. In the spring on 2010 Kent was attending a Tupperware party in the back alleys of Broken Arrow when he met a man that will remain nameless (Mike Hays) who took him under his wing and taught him the ways of Q. Is the months to follow Kent had to turn to female mud wrestling as a way to fund his newly found addiction.
Uncle BC’s was formed in 2008 (BC stands for blue collar) – this name was created by Ms. Haylie Jones (daughter of Daryl and Erin (aka BBQ wife) Jones). We started out by cooking just 1 comp a year (Bixby Blues and BBQ) on someone else’s pit, for the first 3 years. In 2011, I bought an FEC100 and we cooked on a 16’ flat-bed trailer (it gets Effing hot here in Oklahoma!!!!!). Since then we have purchased a toy hauler and are proud to be 1 of the first few teams to start using Gateway Drum Smokers – Insane Can Posse #ICP. In 2014 we were fortunate enough to be asked to be a Kosmo’s Q sponsored team. Since then we have enjoyed great success using Kosmo’s Q products #ItJustWins
RIO Valley Meat - Weslaco, TX.
My first ever competition was Smokin on the Rio an IBCA contest in 2013, with some friends and family and some borrowed BBQ pits we set up with not a clue of what competition BBQ was all about. Well we ended up placing 5th in chicken in a field of 100+ teams that day. After that I was hooked. I started reading, researching, getting on BBQ forums, anything I could get my hands on that was competition bbq. Since then we have managed to Win that same event in 2015 with 160+ teams and we did it again this year 2017 taking home GC honors, this time against 215 top teams.
In 2016 we were very blessed with the opportunity to qualify as an "automatic" into the Jack Daniels World Championship Invitational. I am told I am the fourth person ever in the history of the Jack, to be an "automatic" from the state of Texas. Along with this we have won close to 40 GC's, multiple RGC's, and numerous 1st place walks in each category.
I am thankful to God for his numerous blessings and know that without him none of this would be possible. A lot of hard work, dedication, preparation, sweat, blood, and tears go into this crazy sport of competition BBQ. I once read that Good BBQ comes from experience, and experience comes from a lot of bad BBQ. lets just say I have a lot of experience. That experience has helped me along the way and has allow us to be consistent on the competition circuit week in and week out. I have always wanted to cook where all the best cooks are at. I believe that to be considered one of the best you have to compete against the best. To compete against the best you have to have the best products! Kosmos Q is the real deal!

Born Jeffrey Alan Rumaner, but living under the internationally trademarked moniker "STRETCH", is an Artist, Entrepreneur, Restaurateur, TV Personality & the visionary creator of Grinders Pizza. Grinders Restaurants, CrossroadsKC@Grinders, (USA Today's #1 Pick for "Best Kansas City Nightlife") and even their retail support “sister company,” STRETCH Specialties, LLC, which creates and sells Grinders Signature Hot Sauces, T-shirts and other fun merchandise, have each gained world-wide notoriety, thanks in part, to owner STRETCH’s appearances on hit television shows like: Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives; Guys Big Bite; Cutthroat Kitchen;and most recently, Guy's Grocery Games; Travel Channel’s "Pizza Paradise",Spike TV’s "Bar Rescue", Animal Planet’s “Eating the Enemy,” Discovery Channel’s Monster House, Destination America’s BBQ Pitmasters,and even ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. In its first years of business, Grinders Signature Hot Sauces (#eatheat, @DeathNectar) has won more than 25 prestigious awards & honors, including 2015 Screaming Mimi’s – from the New York City Hot Sauce Expo, People’s Choice Awards at Houston Hot Sauce Festival, multiple 2014 & 2015 International Scovie Awards; appearing on CBS’s 60 Minutes, CBS New York, NBC Albuquerque, FOX Houston and has become available in hundreds of stores around the world, like Whole Foods Markets, Bed, Bath & Beyond & many specialty stores, not to mention quite a few military bases, including ones in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba [GITMO,] Guam & Japan.
Before opening his first Grinders restaurant in 2004, STRETCH was a talented and hardworking sculptor, who first moved to Kansas City to attend the Kansas City Art Institute. He went on to earn his Masters of Fine Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia in 1990, and while there befriended and collaborated with the infamous shock-rock band GWAR. In fact, STRETCH portrayed “Flattus Maximus” in the short film/ long form video entitled, "Phallus In Wonderland" which was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1993. [Flattus Wiki ] STRETCH has since collaborated with many renowned artists including Mark di Suvero and John Henry, and has been honored with numerous residencies, including the prestigious Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West’s TARP.
In 1991, he opened his sculpture studio in a run-down area south of downtown Kansas City, now called the "Crossroads Arts District". His passion for transforming this blighted neighborhood was all encompassing, as he solicited other artists, entertainers, gallery owners and entrepreneurs to move into the neighborhood he called home and open businesses. Before STRETCH, there were two art galleries, and now there are over 70. Before STRETCH, there were only 2 hamburger stands & a Mexican food restaurant in the entire district, and now there are over 50 restaurants. These efforts in the early days earned him the nickname, “The Mayor of the Crossroads” and he began serving on many organization’s Boards of Directors, culminating in a 2006 “Urban Hero Award,” presented by the Downtown Council of Kansas City, Missouri. Then, in 2009 was appointed by then Kansas City, Missouri Mayor Mark Funkhouser to the prestigious and occasionally controversial Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Commission, where STRETCH worked to ensure greater transparency and access for small businesses.
Most days, STRETCH can be seen creating new public art, chasing after his adorable four-year-old twins –(nicknamed “the mugwamps,”) developing & hosting exciting new TV shows, growing the Grinders Pizza brand, brewing craft beers at Grinders High Noon Brewery and slow-smoking some award-winning BBQ on the National KCBS BBQ Circuit.
