Easter Ham & Eggs - Breakfast Style

Kick off your Easter morning with these hearty and satisfying Easter Ham & Eggs - breakfast style. With just a few ingredients and minimal prep, you can whip up a breakfast feast that will leave your family and guests asking for seconds.

You Will Need

  • 1 Ham steak
  • 1 bag of shredded hash browns
  • Eggs
  • Texas toast
  • Spray butter
  • Vegetable oil
  • Kosmos Q SPG rub
  • Kerrygold butter

The Prep

As always, the first step is making sure you have all your ingredients prepped and ready to go. This is a simple cook, but it's still going to make your life easier to have everything within arm's reach!

Start by preheating some vegetable oil on the flat top or skillet over medium heat. While the oil is heating, spread Kerrygold butter on the Texas toast slices, coating them evenly. Give the slices a toast on the flattop until golden brown on both sides, then set them aside for later.

The Cook

Time to get cooking! Add the frozen hash browns to the flattop and season generously with Kosmos Q SPG rub. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking and browning. While they are cooking, crack the eggs directly onto the flattop, season them with SPG, and cook them the way you like 'em, whether that's sunny-side-up, over-easy, or scrambled.

Once the hash browns are crispy and golden, and the eggs are cooked to perfection, it's time for the star of the show – the ham steak. Season with SPG and place it on the flattop. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side until nicely browned and heated through. Hit with some SPG, to taste.

The Payoff

With all the components ready, it's time to assemble your Easter breakfast ham & eggs! Place down a slice of Texas toast on your plate, top it with a generous portion of crispy hash browns, a perfectly cooked egg, and a juicy ham steak. Serve immediately while everything is hot and enjoy your Easter morning.
