Quite a few ingredients on that list, but truth be told this might be one of the easier recipes we've come across. With a little prepwork it's gonna be a breeze.
So, let's get that out of the way. Cook the chicken breasts, and shred them once they're done. Measure out all other ingredients, shred your cheese, chop any veggies you might want to add, and get anything else you might need ready.
Finally, once you're good to go, fire up your grill or smoker to 350ºF (~180ºC). Everything else will come together while the cooker is preheating.
Next, fill a large pot with water, and bring it to a boil over high heat. Add your broccoli and cook for 3 minutes. Then remove from the heat and drain the water out. Set the cooked broccoli aside.
In a medium-sized pan, mix your cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, and heavy cream. Season with Southern Chicken and Beer Can Chicken rubs. Then bouillon until the cream cheese is softened, and whisk until smooth.
In a 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) pan or 3-quart ovenproof skillet, mix the cooked & pulled chicken with the cream sauce and steamed broccoli. Combine well, then top with cheddar cheese.
Finally, place the pan or skillet on the cooker at 350ºF (~180ºC) and bake for 30 minutes.
Leave the chicken divan on the smoker. When you check back after 30 minutes, it will be ready, but you can add cheese and let it go 5 minutes longer if you want more crust.
Serve the divan warm, over cooked rice of your preference!
