Not sure what to do with your left over pulled pork? Turn it into a BBQ flatbread pizza for the family to enjoy!
A terrific recipe by Matt Eppright of Thicc.N.Smokey!
If you've ever cooked pulled pork, you know a pork butt is a big chunk of meat. There's a big chance there will be leftovers - and while you can definitely just have the same tomorrow, why not turn it into something better?
So, let's make some pizza! For this recipe we're using pre-made flatbread pizza crust, but you can always make your own if you feel like it.
Get the rest of your ingredients ready as well - dice the onion, and measure out the sauce, mozzarella, and pulled pork. Then preheat your cooker to 400ºF (205ºC).
Let's make some pizza! Apply thin layer of Kosmos BBQ sauce to the flatbread. Top the sauced flatbread with 3/4 of the mozzarella, save the rest for later. Add your leftover pork and onions, spreading evenly.
Sprinkle with as much Honey Killer Bee as you like, then add the remaining mozzarella cheese. Finally, place the whole pizza on a baking sheet, either over indirect heat or on the middle rack of the oven for 8-10 minutes.
When the cheese is melted, pull the flatbread pizza off the heat. Drizzle with more BBQ sauce, slice and serve while still warm! Enjoy!
