In today’s video, we’re cooking up a spatchcocked turkey on a treager pellet grill that is guaranteed to make this the best holiday turkey you’ve ever had! First, we’re going to spatchcock this bad boy to cut down on cooking time because, to get the perfect smoked turkey, prep time is going to be longer than most cooks. Then, we’re mixing up our legendary Turkey Brine and letting the turkey soak up all the moisture and flavor for at least 12 hours. Next, we’re letting this bird sit in the fridge in a paper towel robe to really lock in that flavor. When the timer runs out, it’s time to rub this bird! We’re using Dirty Bird and making sure to get the rub in all the nooks and crannies of this spatch-cocked turkey. Once your smoker is ready, put the turkey in, and let it smoke for 2 hours, or until the internal temp reaches 165°F and that’s when the magic happens. After the turkey rests for 10 minutes, we’re coating this bad boy in BBQ Glaze for the perfect finishing touch. It’s time to tell dry turkey to cluck off this Thanksgiving!
