I’ve made my own brines previously, but due to some issues, didn’t have time to make mine this year. Went with Alison’s Turkey Brine in a pinch, as their other spices are great, and well…. This did not disappoint. Fantastic flavor on the turkey. Will be using this again!

Best turkey brine I've used. I use it all the time now. I let it soak for 18 hours in turkey brine. I used my own injection. Dirty Bird and Honey Pecan rubs were used on it also. This was the moist turkey I've ever seen smoked for 6 hours in cherry and maple.

This 32 lb beauty, yes 32 lbs roll a bath in the Dirty Bird brine for 14 hours then smoked her on a Meadow Creek PR60 with Royal Oak Charcoal and Hickory wood chips for 5 hrs at 275-300.
It was by far the best Turkey I have ever smoked and my guests raved about it. Dirty Bird Rocked it!

It’s been a Kosmo Q holiday here at my house! I learned about you in early November and decided to try your smoked turkey recipe. I’ve been a god ever since! The smoked turkey brined with the the turkey brine for 19 hours then smoked and glazed with the cherry-apple habaner glaze left my family with the first year ever of NO TURKEY LEFT-OVERS!! I quickly ordered more of your products and watched plenty of your YouTube videos. I’ve since become a weekend RIB warrior and your smoked chickens are to die for! I have most of your product line now and tomorrow if doing 3 dozen wings for New Years tossed in your magical big dust and finished with your BBQ sauce and glazes! I think it’s pretty awesome that you are willing to share your bbqing secrets that has made you a world champ…thank you for making me one with my family!! Kosmo's Turkey Brine: Not just for Thanksgiving...
I normally make my own brines but this year decided to try Kosmo's Turkey brine for my two smoked turkey breasts. Glad I did. I wet-brined overnight then patted dry and did a dry brine for approx 12 hours. The results were two fantastic tasting turkey breasts. After smoking to an internal temperature of 162 degrees, I let them rest for 30 minutes before carving. Everyone commented on how flavorful and juicy they were. Topped off with some homemade Alabama white BBQ sauce I made. Will definitely do this again, and not just for Thanksgiving. #ITJUSTWINS
