I had never brined a turkey before this Thanksgiving. What the heck was I thinking. Absolute best decision, super flavorful and moist. Brined for 18 hrs, smoked in my Orion smoker for 1.5 hrs. Perfection. NO leftovers at all. Sad for me cause I like my turnkey sammiches after Thanksgiving. I'll be a regular brine customer from now on.

The Brine mix and Dirty Bird Seasoning are Great! The plastic bag is the perfect size for a 14.5 lbs bird and 2 gallons of water. I brined the bird for 20 hours in our refrig. Rinsed and let it dry in the refrig for 5 hours. Removed and dried with paper towels. I took 3 stick of salted butter and a 1/4 cup of Dirty Bird rub and combined them and rubbed down the bird then sprinkled the entire bird. Set the smoker to 325 temp and using Cherry pellets. Cooked to 130 temp and melted the remaining butter mix and mopped the bird. Cooked for 5 hours until 165 temp in the beast. Very crispy crust and a perfect taste. I highly recommend KOSMOS Q BBQ!
