You may not know that the Bloody Mary has a cousin: This version, based on Tequila, is called a Bloody Maria. We took the smokier route, using Mezcal and hitting it with some chipotle pepper puree.

Crafting a great cocktail is an art and a science. Still, it's not difficult to follow a good recipe. Whether you're just getting started, or are a veteran in the exploring of flavors, this is going to be a breeze - and you might learn something along the way!
One tip we can give has to do with your ingredients. Picking the right tequila or mezcal is the first step: do your research, find the brand that ticks all the boxes for what you enjoy.
But the rest of the cocktail components are equally important. Try to find fresh, high quality, possibly local fruit, spices, juice, et cetera. This might seem trivial, but you'll notice the difference if you go from boxed lime juice to juicing your own limes.
Time to mix your very own Bloody Maria! Grab a mixing container, and add your ingredients. Shake/mix to combine. Some will tell you that the manner in which you mix makes a difference. If that is true, it is definitely not noticeable - do what feels right for you.
Once ready, serve the Bloody Maria on ice. Keeping the spirit of the bloody mary family, rim your glass with lime juice and Cow Cover Hot.
Garnish however you like - then enjoy your Bloody Maria, before making another one...
