Steak Fajitas on the Blackstone

Steak Fajitas on the Blackstone

Are you ready to turn up the heat on your next fiesta? We've got just the recipe for you! Say goodbye to boring fajitas, this is going to quickly become your go-to recipe.

You Will Need

For the Salsa

The Prep

First, slice up two onions, and then thinly slice up those jalapenos and bell peppers for a burst of heat and color. Don't forget to chop up some fresh cilantro for the perfect finishing touch. Measure out the other ingredients and set them aside.

The Cook

Now it's time to get cooking! First things first, preheat your flattop to 350°F (177°C). While the griddle warms up, slice the flank steak into thin strips. Make sure to cut against the grain to ensure maximum tenderness. Once the steak is sliced up, toss it in our zesty Freakin' Fiesta seasoning until each piece is well coated. Let it rest for a few minutes while you move on to the salsa.

With the grill up to temp, give the tomatoes, white onion, serano, jalapeno & habanero peppers a quick char over direct heat. You're only looking to soften them up, then let them cool down and dump 'em right into the blender. Add the garlic, chicken bouillon, lime juice, and seasonings and give it a few pulses until it reaches the desired salsa consistency.

With everything else ready, drizzle some oil onto the flattop and add the sliced onions, jalapenos, and bell peppers. The combination of these vegetables will add incredible flavor and texture to your plate. Cook the veggies until they become softened, then add the steak. Flip often to ensure that each piece of steak is evenly cooked to perfection.

The Payoff

As soon as the steak is cooked to your liking, turn off the heat and get ready to assemble your tacos.

This is the moment we've been waiting for! It's time to assemble these mouthwatering tacos. Grab a tortilla and spoon on a generous portion of the sizzling steak and veggie mixture. Top off with the fire roasted salsa, as well as your other favorite toppings, such as shredded cheese, or sliced avocado. Don't forget the fresh cilantro for that perfect finishing touch.
