Everything was awesome except for one small hiccup. My brine kit arrived in plenty of time. Unfortunately the kit was shipped without the brine bag. A quick phone call and the bag was sent priority mail. I ended up having to buy a brine bag in fear it would not show up in time to brine. The bag showed up a day too late. Even with the small hiccup, everyone raved about the flavor packed, juicy turkey. It was a huge success and I will most definitely do it again.

This brine was AMAZING! Juicy, tender and super flavorful turkey was consumed, and everyone loved it. After brining for 14-hours, rubbed with Hot Dirty Bird and then smoked it with pecan and apple wood - the results were outstanding! I'll definitely do this again next Thanksgiving.
