SAVORY SEAFOOD, SIMPLIFIED

When it comes to seafood, it’s easy to overthink it, but we’re all about keeping it simple and delicious.

Check out what they have to say

  • Does it take a long time to bbq seafood?

In barbecue, it’s not about the time; your focus is the final internal temperature. The USDA recommends a final temp of 145°F (63°C) for most seafood and shellfish, but does note that some fish, like tuna, can be cooked to medium-rare (around 120°F or 49°C).

  • What should I use to prevent the skin of my fish from sticking to my grill or smoker?

You can use a few different methods, but we’d recommend aluminum foil (or an aluminum pan), butcher paper, or a grill mat.

  • Can I use the rubs as a replacement for a traditional seafood boil spice sack?

Definitely! Just make sure you’re using enough seasoning for the amount of water you’re boiling.

  • Chicken soak for seafood? Explain yourself.

That’s no accident! Our Chicken Soak is the perfect way to get rid of that seafood smell while adding the first injection of flavor.
