But the real star is the bacon. Thick-cut bacon gets seasoned with Kosmos Q Honey Killer Bee Rub and baked until perfectly crispy, then chopped up and piled on top of each deviled egg.

They're creamy, tangy, savory, and packed with a sweet honey BBQ flavor. Perfect for game day, backyard cookouts, holiday gatherings, or anytime you need an appetizer that disappears fast. Let's get to it!

You Will Need

For the Deviled Eggs

  • 6 large eggs

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

  • 1 Tbsp yellow mustard

  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped dill pickles

  • 2 Tbsp finely diced red onion

For the Honey Killer Bee Crispy Bacon

The Prep

Start by placing the 6 large eggs in a saucepan and covering them with cold water.

Bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, turn off the heat, cover the saucepan, and let the eggs sit for 11–12 minutes.

While the eggs cook, prepare a bowl of ice water.

Once the eggs are done, transfer them immediately to the ice bath and let them cool for about 5 minutes.

Peel the eggs carefully and set them aside.

Next, finely chop 2 tablespoons of dill pickles and dice 2 tablespoons of red onion.

Pat the pickles and red onion dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This helps keep the deviled egg filling nice and thick.

Now everything is ready for the bacon and filling.

The Honey Killer Bee Crispy Bacon

Preheat your oven to 400°F.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.

Arrange the 6 slices of thick-cut bacon in a single layer on the wire rack.

Season both sides evenly with 1 tablespoon of Kosmos Q Honey Killer Bee Rub, making sure each slice gets a good coating.

Place the bacon in the oven and bake at 400°F for 15–20 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of crispiness.

Once the bacon is done, remove it from the oven and transfer the slices to a paper towel-lined plate.

Let the bacon cool before chopping it into small pieces.

That crispy bacon, combined with the sweet honey flavor of Killer Bee, is going to take these deviled eggs to another level.

The Deviled Egg Filling

Take your peeled eggs and slice each one in half lengthwise.

Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.

Arrange the egg white halves on a serving platter, leaving enough room to fill each one.

Using a fork, mash the egg yolks until they're smooth and free of large lumps.

Add ¼ cup of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard.

Next, add 2 tablespoons of finely chopped dill pickles, 2 tablespoons of finely diced red onion, and 1 tablespoon of Kosmos Q Dirty Bird Rub.

Mix everything together until the filling is thick, creamy, and well combined.

The Dirty Bird Rub brings a savory BBQ kick to the filling, while the mustard and pickles add just the right amount of tang. The red onion rounds everything out with a little extra bite.

The Fill

Transfer the deviled egg filling into a piping bag.

If you don't have a piping bag, a zip-top bag with one corner cut off works just as well.

Pipe the filling generously into each egg white half.

Don't be shy with it. Give each egg a nice mound of that creamy, Dirty Bird-packed filling.

Make sure all the egg whites are evenly filled so every bite gets plenty of that delicious mixture.

The Honey Killer Bee Finish

Now it's time for the best part.

Take your chopped Honey Killer Bee crispy bacon and generously sprinkle it over the top of each deviled egg.

Make sure every egg gets a good amount of bacon so you get that sweet, savory crunch in every bite.

Finish with a light dusting of additional Kosmos Q Honey Killer Bee Rub.

The combination of creamy Dirty Bird egg filling and crispy, honey-seasoned bacon brings together a delicious balance of savory, sweet, and tangy flavors.

The Chill

Once all the eggs are filled and garnished, carefully place the serving platter in the refrigerator.

Chill the deviled eggs for 30 minutes before serving.

For the best texture, add the crispy bacon right before serving if you're preparing the eggs ahead of time. This helps keep the bacon crunchy instead of letting it soften in the refrigerator.

The Serve

Remove the deviled eggs from the refrigerator and arrange them on a serving platter.

Give them one final look to make sure each egg has plenty of that Honey Killer Bee crispy bacon on top.

Serve chilled and watch them disappear.

These are perfect alongside your favorite BBQ dishes, burgers, smoked meats, or just about anything coming off the grill.

The Payoff

Classic deviled eggs with a whole lot more flavor.

You've got a thick, creamy filling seasoned with Kosmos Q Dirty Bird Rub, just the right amount of tang from the mustard and pickles, a little bite from the red onion, and crispy bacon seasoned with Kosmos Q Honey Killer Bee Rub.

That sweet honey BBQ flavor paired with the savory egg filling makes every bite delicious.

They're easy to make, require just a handful of ingredients, and are guaranteed to be a hit at your next gathering.

Make a batch, pile on that bacon, and enjoy these Deviled Eggs with Honey Killer Bee Crispy Bacon.
