Season the steak with a blend of Garlic Jalapeno & Classic Steak rub and let it sit for a few minutes. In the meantime, prepare the veggies: wash and dry the spring mix lettuce, slice the green and red peppers, and dice the onion. Also, toast the almonds in a dry skillet for a few minutes until fragrant. Finally, preheat your smoker to 250°F (120°C) with Smokey Woods apple pellets.
Place the steak on the smoker and let it smoke until it reaches your desired level of doneness. For medium-rare, it should take about 30-40 minutes to reach an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C). Once it's done, remove it from the smoker and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
Now it's time to assemble the salad! Start by laying down a bed of spring mix lettuce on a plate. Then, add the sliced green and red peppers, diced onion, and shredded carrots on top. Next, add the smoked steak strips and sprinkle the toasted almonds and crispy chow mein noodles over everything. Finally, drizzle the Toasted Sesame Seed Asian Dressing on top.
