We tried the rub on a grilled spatchcocked chicken, it was amazing. Most definitely a keeper!

I had high hopes of this one being some lemony goodness. But like so many others before it, salt! I am honestly surprised and somewhat sad that most all of these lab experiments are either spicy as shit, or salty as hell. This one had the opportunity to shine, as did the brown sugar one. Do you guys even try these before you send them out? I have a bbq supply store, and know as well as anyone that rubs can take on a different taste after cooked, but the only thing that people can go by, is the taste in the store. All of the rubs that I have tried, I won't put on my shelf. Badass American, had an off flavor....the brown sugar was spicy as hell, and it should have been the sweetest one! Garlic Jalapeno and the lemon both taste about the same....all salt! Not sure that I will be buying anymore....sadly.

Great black pepper taste but disappointing because I had no lemon flavor

That’s pretty cool. Got a little zest to it little pop as to what I would normally use my SPG on great on chicken.
