This is one of the best, if not THE best Turkey Brine I've ever used. The fact that it comes in a kit with a brine bag, brine, and a rub makes it an even better value. I bought it early this year because ... why wait until it's too late and then you end up using a chicken soak ... which is also an excellent choice for turkey!!! This is my go-to brine for Thanksgiving, which is only a few months away.

To this point I have deep fried 3 turkeys in my life, all in the last 5 years. The first year was pretty good, just used a competitors rub and it was ok, the second time I used the KosmosQ brine kit and rub, and it was a hit with about 20 family and friends. THIS year I used the kit again, only, my turkey didn't thaw in time (my fault) so I just used the rub. Now let me say, while the bird was frying I would pull it to check temps, around the 50 minute mark (21pound bird), a few of the family started giving me a doubtful side-eye due to the bird being dark because of the seasoning rub (some informed me it was burnt, I informed them it truly wasn't), but when I got it carved and they started eating, they were almost overly effusive about how juicy it was and how the rub added such flavor to the meat! I myself thought it was even better than the bird I was able to brine, but who knows, maybe I was just really hungry. Needless to say, the bird was fantastic and loved by all, and KosmosQ has earned a permanent spot on my shelf, and in my heart, love it guys!

The brine portion worked out perfectly. Very moist and juicy. The seasoning and glaze were not traditional so to speak. It was very good just different. Definitely added some flavor and I would recommend it if you want to try something different and not the same old boring turkey.

I smoked an 8 lb turkey breast and followed your directions to a tee. Honestly it was the best turkey breast that I have ever smoked. The family was impressed and the leftovers were entirely consumed the next day. Only regret, I didn't have enough leftovers to make a different dish with the turkey! Next time I will either smoke two, or get a bigger whole breast.
