This is our 2nd time buying this, the best Turkey we have ever done. Rave reviews by the entire family on the last bird. This bird is for tomorrow for Easter and I’m sure it will be delicious too.
Tip: be sure to test your bag before putting your bird and brine in it. Our bag had a leak, we won’t discuss the mess in our refrigerator.

The brine just didn’t turn out as we expected. The Apple Habanero glaze lacked the flavor that we anticipated as well. Not sure if we got a bad batch or what. Fast shipping and great packing makes this a 3 star for me.

I bought this brine kit after using Kosmos SPG seasoning and a few other blends. I have smoked, fried and baked dozens of Turkeys and have tried dozens of other brines, including making my own. This is the easiest and best brine by far. I have bought 3 brine kit's since thanksgiving. Thanks Kosmos!

I follow quite a few cooking pages/websites and have tried many different respective products. This was our first time this past year (2023) trying y’alls Turkey Brine Mix and it has been the best one I have yet to taste. We cooked it in the oven as a trial and error run and it came out extremely moist, flavorful and overall just perfect. We will be buying again and trying different cooking methods as well.

Kosmos brine kit is the absolute best brine I’ve used. I’ve been cooking and smoking meats my whole life and kosmos is by far hands down one of the top tasting brines on the market. Dirty bird rub is bangin the drum all night long! It has become one of my go to rubs!!! Bravo kosmo!

I really like this brine. My complaint is that it’s expensive for what you get. It takes a cup of brine mix to brine depending on the size of your bird. Yet the serving size measurements on the bag are quarter cups. So it more than likely takes 4 servings to brine. This bag needs to contain 1.5-2x the amount of brine for the price. If I’m in a pinch I’ll use it but it is way overpriced in my opinion I’m still a fan but being honest.

Used the turkey brine on a 17lb turkey. Used the dirty bird rub after butterflying the turjey. Smoked it til it reached 180 in the thigh. Turned out awesome! Will definitely use this brine and rub again.

We did 5 turkey for Thanksgiving this year and this one was the only one that was leftover. It was still good, but the local grocery store branded brine and turkey rub bested it, and it was $22 cheaper. Traeger turkey brine was the favorite, plus you get a bag of pellets at less cost than Kosmo brine & rub. Save your money, there are much better options out there. (I would also suggest Meat Church bird bath.)

Used the brine on a full turkey and a breast. Piece of cake to to. Then used dirty bird on the full turkey and BBQ'd and the glaze on the breast which I smoked. Both were a big hit and then the combined carcasses' became an amazing turkeys soup.

It was great, I wanted to try something new. I been making my turkey the same way for years now. I always make 2 turkey and they finish that same day. My citric style turkey vs. Kosmos both finish and both where juicy and done perfect. When asking it was 50/50, some had a hard time deciding they where both good. I did too.
Why the 3 stars, I do recommend this seasoning, but the glaze was different, it was good. I prefer a slice of honey ham and not both. That was not the reason for the 3 stars, it was the price. You do get enough seasonings for 2 turkeys, but only 1 bag. The bag felt heavy-duty I could if washed it and used it again.
Ya, the seasoning is great the glaze is good. The kit is awesome, if it's on sale under 40 bucks I'll buy it again. My seasonings is under 15 bucks per turkey, compare to yours

The bag has a single zip lock which is not very secure. I followed the instructions with the amount of water and brine mixture to add and once placed in refrigerator the zip lock busted open on top leaking out half a gallon of brine into my refrigerator. So I had to transition into using a cooler and remixing brine solution again. After complete I fried the turkey, and the outside was good but there was no noticeable enhancement of flavor in the interior meat of the turkey. I will not purchase this brine kit again. I will go back to injecting my turkey and saving the myself a huge headache in the future.

First time deep frying a turkey. I used the brine kit and with the dirty bird seasoning. I usually smoke it. Had some issues with controlling temperature because of the wind. Got a little worried when I pulled it out and it was black. It It actually turned out really good. It looked burnt but didn’t have a burnt taste and was extremely juicy. The family has actually requested to do one for Christmas. I’ll have a wind break in place next time to help control the temperature.
